Local Worship - Plug In Locally!

One incredibly important aspect of the Christian life is involvement in the local church.  The apostle John described the Church as Christ's beloved bride, and the apostle Paul described the Church as the body of Christ.  How awesome is that?  If we are all a part of the body, as Paul says, then it seems crucial that we be involved with the rest of the body through participation with the Church.  After all, when's the last time you saw a detached limb serving much of a purpose on it's own?

The Local Church is God's agent to bring about grace, peace and love to a broken and hurting world.  At Hope College, it is possible to be connected to the Body of believers here on campus, but it is also very valuable to be connected with an intergenerational Church and to share life with people who have all kinds of different gifts and life experiences.  After all, you're not going to be a college student forever.
